At Foreman Afriqa, our workshop capacity is designed to handle a wide range of engineering and fabrication projects, ensuring high-quality results within agreed timelines. Our fully equipped workshop is supported by state-of-the-art tools and machinery, enabling us to tackle both large-scale and specialized projects with precision.
Our workshop is capable of managing various operations, including milling, drilling, lathe work, and the execution of H-bores & V-bores. We are also equipped to handle hydraulic hammer sales, repairs, and services, as well as hydraulic testing and servicing for critical industrial systems. This diverse capability allows us to perform intricate tasks, such as the refurbishment of components and equipment hire, with the utmost reliability.
Key Workshop Capabilities Include:
- Heavy-Duty Equipment Handling: Lifting and positioning capacity for up to 30 tonnes, with in-house forklifts (up to 5 tonnes) and logistics support for receiving and dispatching large materials.
- Precision Machining: Fully operational milling machines, lathes, H-bores, V-bores, and drilling stations capable of producing accurate, repeatable results for critical components.
- Advanced Welding & Fabrication Stations: Dedicated bays for MIG, TIG, Arc, and Submerged Arc welding—suitable for structural steel, stainless steel, and aluminium projects.
- Hydraulic Testing & Repairs: On-site hydraulic diagnostics and pressure testing facilities for pumps, hammers, cylinders, and drifters.
- Component Refurbishment Zones: Areas designated for the complete disassembly, repair, and reassembly of mechanical systems including gearboxes, conveyor rollers, and drive systems.
- Custom Build & Assembly Space: Ample floor space for the layout and assembly of fabricated structures, skids, tanks, and mobile units.
Our workshop operates under a streamlined workflow system, ensuring that multiple projects can be executed concurrently without compromising on quality or delivery timelines. With our team’s deep technical expertise and access to mobile units, we are also well-positioned to provide on-site support for urgent repairs or installations when required.
